The 5th year of the Cybersecurity Hall of Fame was again held under the auspices of the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Miloš Vystrčil, and the 2022 Cybersecurity Hall of Fame inductee was
JAN BEROUN

Lieutenant General Ing. Jan Beroun, the Director of Military Intelligence since 2014, has played a key role in building the cyber defense capabilities of the Czech Republic. His commitment and optimism have been instrumental in pushing through the Amendment to the Military Intelligence Act. The CHF Commission acknowledged his longstanding work in the field of cyber defense of the Czech Republic.

The presentation of the 5th CYBERSECURITY SHIELD OF GLORY was made on the occasion of the XIII International IS2 Conference at the Grand Priory Palace. The award was presented by the representative of the main CHF partner CETIN, a member of the Board of Directors Mr. Michal Frankl. The CHF committee also thanked Jan Kolouch, Ales Špidla, and Václav Žid for their long-term and positive contribution to the field of cybersecurity.

This year's awardee was welcomed into the Cybersecurity Hall of Fame by previous years' awardees - Jaroslav Šmíd, Ondřej Filip, Dušan Navrátil and Andrea Kropáčová.
