Daniel Rous graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno, Czech Republic. He majored in thermal and nuclear machinery and equipment. Following his studies, he briefly worked as a scientific researcher at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant in a specialized training facility focused on the primary system of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. From 1993 to 2004, he held various positions in the intelligence service of the Czech Republic. Since joining CEZ in 2004, he has served as Director of the CEZ Group Security Department with a primary emphasis on safeguarding critical infrastructure and enhancing information and cyber security measures
