10 years of experience with the electronic identification systém mojeID
10 years ago, the CZ.NIC association launched the electronic identification service mojeID. During that time, the service has undergone considerable development and is used in many systems, including libraries, e-shops, news servers and municipalities. Quite recently, mojeID obtained an accreditation for the administration of a qualified electronic identification system from the Ministry of the Interior, thanks to which it is possible to access state administration systems using mojeID. Due to this step, mojeID started to support the modern FIDO2 open authentication standard as the second factor. The aim of the lecture will be to summarize the current ten-year experience with the operation of the service, to point out some aspects of the connection to the state identity system NIA and to outline the directions of future development of mojeID.
