Ing. Pavel Východský, Ph.D. graduated from engineering studies at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in the field of IT and completed a doctorate at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Liberec. His career path consisted of managerial and statutory positions, especially in financial companies such as Česká pojišťovna, PPF group, Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna ČR, KBC group, ČSOB Pojišťovna, and for the last three years he was a member of the board of directors of Prague Airport. His work experience is in the field of information technology and cybersecurity, finance, human resources management, internal audit, compliance and risk management. In addition, he lectured and supervised diploma theses at the Banking Institute of Prague and actually works in the program committee of the IS2 Information Security Summit, as well as a certified mentor and lecturer of the management academy for TOP Consulting.
